The Summer season will start on 16th April with the 1st Round of the TKO.  The league matches will start the following week on 23rd April.

We finished last season with 72 teams.  Of those teams, 68 have rejoined the league.  Four teams have decided not to enter this season.  They are Rathmore Arbers, Cambridge United SC, Fox (LB) and Carlton Arms (KM).  We have 6 new teams from Abington SC, Chesterton Working Men’s Club (B), Fox (XL), Willingham SC (B), Black Bull Dragons and Black Bull Phoenix.  This gives us a total of 74 teams in the Summer League.  We have arranged them into 8 divisions, with 10 in the Prem and Division 7.  The other 6 divisions have 9 teams.

All teams in the top two have been promoted and all teams in the bottom two have been relegated where there is a division for them to go in.  Due to the teams dropping out being in higher divisions there are some extra promotions as follows.

WT’s Garage Nation have been promoted two divisions to Division 1.

White Horse (MIlton) Exports have been promoted to Division 1 from 3rd place in Division 2.

Hop Bind (B) have been promoted to Division 2 from 3rd place in Division 3.

Newton SSC (A) have been promoted to Division 3 from 4th place in Division 4.  The 3rd placed team dropped out of the league.

NCI Moonshine have been promoted to Division 4 from 3rd place in Division 5.

Dobblers (B) have been promoted to Division 5 from 3rd place in Division 6.

The new teams have been placed in divisions as follows;

Chesterton WMC (B) in Division 2.

Black Bull Dragons in Division 4.

Fox (XL) in Division 6.

Abington SC Hustlers, Black Bull Pheonix and Willingham SC (B) in Division 7.

The Red Lion Whittlesford have moved to Whittlesford SC.  The King St Run (X) are now the Grapes (X).  The Fox (A) are now Willingham SC (A).

In addition, we have had a revamp of how the fixtures work for the season.  At the moment, we play each team in the same order in the second half of the season.  We are going to change that so that you play 1 to 9, 9 again then 1 to 8.  This will give a double header of fixtures in the middle of the season.  The reason for the change is to even out the home and away fixtures.  At the moment, one team in each division has three away fixtures in a row and likewise one team has three home fixtures in a row.  This will change so teams only have a maximum of two at home or away.

Lee will post the cup draw soon.

There will be two captains meeting on 14th and 16th April.  You can attend either.  Your div sec will be in touch closer to the time with exact details.
